Son tan escuchados algunos temas navideños que parece como si hubieran existido desde siempre. Sin embargo, algunos fueron creados originalmente para una película. Bing Crosby y su "White Christmas" es quizá el caso más conocido, pero yo me quedo con Judy Garland.

"Have yourself a merry little Christmas" apareció por primera vez en la película Cita en San Luis (1944) de Vincente Minnelli. Es la "versión triste", como corresponde al momento de la película donde se canta, aunque no tan triste pues ya está algo optimizada respecto de la  pretendida versión original.
